Kate!

Or rather, Catherine. We're going to have to call her Catherine when she marries the Prince of Wales this April. I have to say though, "Kate" suits her. :)

Anyways, I really like Kate Middleton's style. Very classic and chic (Though not always to my standards. See disclaimer below, and on my sidebar.)

I love the Scottish feel of this ensemble. Also reminds me of a school uniform (not like I've ever worn one! LOL)

plaid skirt: VINTAGE! Actually, from my GRANDMA's closet. Well, everything old is new again!
stockings: from Walmart. $2

I'm really sad I couldn't participate more in Keeping It Classy week.  :( Seriously, I only entered once (today) *sigh*

My grandma gave me this gorgeous necklace. I LOVE it!!!! Reminds me of the Hope diamond.

What I'm wearing:

necklace (aka "the Hope diamond"): Stitches, in Canada (ooo! Imported! LOL)
3/4 length sleeve shirt: used to be Mom's. Been around for years
blue tank top: Forever 21. Hand-me-down from my cousin
pants: Old Navy. On clearance, $5

Anyways, I'm really excited about this. I was shopping with my aunt (affectionately known just as "Auntie") and we found these three beautiful velvet ribbon barrettes--at the DOLLAR TREE!!!

There's a brown one, a black one, and a gorgeous blue one. I love velvet-- and I love barrettes. Speaking of which, barrettes are a major trend right now. 

I love them. They make me think of Marcia Brady.
