Think PINK!

I've recently decided that I LOVE pink! Hot pink that is.

J. Crew has a lot of lovely Bridemaid/Party dresses that come in pink. I love their taffeta ones.

A recent designer collection featured beautiful PINK carnations on a GREEN dress (together!!!):

Last but not least, I'm inspired by Gwen Stephanie's wedding dress:

Wills + Kate

Yes, I saw the Royal Wedding. At 5 AM our time. Actually, while most of you east-coasters got up at 4 in the morning to see it, I stayed up till 5 so I could see the whole thing. That's how wacky London time is for us on the other side of the world.

I loved her dress. I actually predicted almost everything about it correctly except the neck line. A bit low in my opinion, but very Grace Kelly! I also loved the slight bustle in the back.

But before I saw Kate, I saw Pippa. I almost had a heart attack, thinking Pippa was Kate, and wondering why she was wearing that to a Royal Wedding! I loved Pippa's dress as a bridesmaid (though again, a bit low).

Anyways, Royal Weddings are a lot of fun.

Vintage-inspired wedding dress

My favorite wasn't the winner. :( However, I'm still very inspired by it!

The designer of this dress is Lynsey Bullock from Dothan, AL. The fabrics are a lovely gold silk shantung, with a dyed dotted tulle overlay. (I decided I LOVE dotted tulle after seeing this dress).  Her inspirations were Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

This was my other favorite, inspired by the weather on an island  near the designer's hometown, where her grandparents met, believe it or not!
